The Groomsmen

In Honor of the Groomsmen…

The GroomsmenWhen I think about the best times of my childhood, what comes to mind is romping around King School Road playing Release in the middle of the night, building tree houses, playing Risk at Ray’s house, Eric H. chasing Ray and never catching him, fishing trips, Dan and his brother Dave fighting over Street Fighter 2, breaking into a golf course and laying on the greens watching the stars, and the multitude of other things that Ray, Eric, Eric, Dan, and many others used to do.

It seems like not too long ago we were staying up late watching the corniest horror movies and hours of playing Super Mario Smash brothers in Ray’s bedroom. With the many ups and downs, the memories we have together are hilarious and invaluable.

Although we have all gone in different directions since those days, when we get together the good times come back to us. I am so happy that I have a close group of guys to remember the best times of my childhood with and to share our lives together.

To My Brother, Jon…

Jon Fish

My older brother and I were inseparable as young kids. We played together, shared bunk beds, bathed together, and everything else we could possibly do together. Unfortunately for him, having a younger brother who takes your clothes and sneaks into your room can be somewhat terrorizing.

Through middle and high school Jon and I were at each other’s throats constantly; our poor mother had to break up many fights, one or two which involved sharp objects.

As adults, Jon and I share the same sense of humor and have many laughs together. I am thankful that I have a big brother who I am so close to and has been there for me for as long as I can remember.
